Well, after Wed night's third and final debate between the presidential candidates, the election season is heading down the back stretch. Whether you're ready for it to be over or not, this is an important time. There are many issues to be considered as we try to move forward as a country. But there are also issues at hand in state and local arenas. Important decsions indeed.
Its not my stance to try to convince persons to vote for one candidate orthe other, nor is it to convince you of how to vote in regards of other ballot issues. What I strongly encourage is two-fold. First, educate yourself. Find out the truth behind political jargon. There are resources out there that will help sort through the many speeches of the candidates. Also, look closely at the ballot measures. Often, there is more than meets the eye. And when you have educated yourself, make sure to vote! That's something that we far too much take for granted, being able to vote. One only has to look to history to see the struggle and sacrifice to make possible for us today this right. Don't let it go to waste.
