Today was quite a day. It began with our Firecracker car show. It turned out well with lots of people in attendance. While that was going on, the set-up for the evening event was already underway. It just so happens that every year, folks gather in the church parking lot to watch fireworks from nearby Manchester park. This year, I proposed turning it into a concert as well. And... success! Beginning just after 7 pm was True North, our youth praise band. They rocked! Then we had a couple of pieces from a brass ensemble. Finally, our adult praise band, One Voice, brought a variety of songs that were great as usual. The music wrapped up around 8:30 pm and then the fireworks were shot off about 9:10 pm. It was a great display.
I just want to say thanks to eveyone who worked so hard to help make this a reality.I couldn't begin to name everyone, but you all know who you are. Its days like this that make me proud to knkow you all and proud to be a part of this church. Just one more thing... we need to do this more often!

Amen, Chris! A special 'shout-out' to Sharon Eatherton, and her right-hand 'man' Amanda! These two and their team did an outstanding job organizing and hosting the car show, and we owe them a round of applause. Shraon, Mandy, and all you team members . . . take a bow!
